Canadian Jazz- Well Worth Nurturing

Jazz At The Jack focuses on jazz both as a discipline of music and the way it reflects what is going on in our culture with both now and what’s coming.

With your continued support,

we are truly able to create an institution where our children and our children’s children can come to enjoy, learn and evolve with the music genre known as Jazz.

Music Is Healthy

Over the last several of years, I have observed parents' reactions in the schools as they came to watch their sons or daughters perform at their school’s music night. It might be that they came to enjoy the concert band or, the choir or, the jazz band.

Whatever the style, it was always a major event for both the performers and the audience. Music in the schools is necessary to a student’s wellbeing and evolvement both as a listener and/or a performer.

By exposing them to different genres of music, you are opening up their ears and minds to cultural pallets necessary for understanding and getting along with life and the challenges it presents.
